About me
My name is Stuart Browne, no, honestly, it is. The clue is in the domain name of the website you are currently visiting.
I was born in the east end of London in nineteen hundred and sixty which means at the time of typing I am at the grand old age 65! I plan of being immortal and live for ever and so far, it’s working.
I got into computers in the mid eighties when the garage I was working at in the parts department (Later became Parts manager) became computerised. By the way it was a Honda car Dealership. I wanted to know more so I went to evening class at our local college to complete an A level in computer studies, I learnt a little of BASIC (Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) and wrote a small programme for the forecourt to manage the fuel stock control.
I later left and became a Milkman (More money (Double in fact)) Yawn and Blah! Blah! Anyway I managed to earn a HNC BTEC In computer studies and then completed a City & Guilds in Computer networking. I believe I am one of the last people to gain this certification as this course no longer exists! This is probably due to the up-and-coming Operating systems could do all the work themselves.
I then started a part time business fixing computers in customers homes. At this time, I became interested in the creation of websites and went on online courses, again, to learn more!
I created websites for a few companies and then got bored so I created a site where clients could build their own. If you want to visit that site click on www.PtarmiganWebsites.com and have a go at building one yourself.

So, what’s this site all about?
I no longer build sites anymore, except for friends and family, but I did create this one for two reasons. Firstly, it was created with software called Rocketcake and I wanted to try it. Secondly, on the links, it includes valuable sites and tools computer operations and website creation. I hope you enjoy your visit to this site
